Kuzhi Paniyaram using idly batter



 This is just simple way of preparing paniyaram,  recipe for preparing batter for paniyaram is different.... So if you have non stick kuzhipaniyaram tawa,  can prepare in this way... In a Kadai, add oil, season with mustard seeds, urad dhall, hing powder, then add finely chopped onions...in mixie small cup, pulse for one second green chillies, ginger, garlic (optional), curry leaves, coriander leaves, (since kids won't like if I add these items by cutting fine, moreover by single pulse it will blend easily with batter), so when onion turns soft and pink, add green chilli paste fry little, can add little salt, but be careful since already we add salt in batter... Transfer this to the idly or dosa batter, mix well....pour the batter in kuzhi paniyaram tava, cook in medium flame ... Serve hot with spicy chutney,,.,

Measurement for kuzhi paniyaram batter is, raw rice 1 cup, par boiled rice 1 cup, urad dhal 1/2 cup, fenugreek seeds 2 tsp,  soak seperately, grind and allow to ferment and then prepare paniyaram, for sweet paniyaram, add jaggery shrub, coconut scraps, cardomon, cook in ghee... Will have nice taste.... For kara paniyaram refer above ricepe, add coconut scraps for kara paniyaram too, I forget to mention there,,,, can add grated carrot, vegetables of our choices....
