Carrot beans poriyal

Everyone will be familiar with carrot poriyal. So I am not going to tell detailed recipe. But this is just a tip to make this poriyal without adding much water retaining original colour of fruits.


Even for carrot beans poriyal ( thoran??) I followed little different method to retain its colour..... Tasted so nice.... Just mix crushed onion, green chillies, ginger garlic And curry leaves ( run for one pulse in mixie) with nicely chopped carrot beans and gose.......sauté this mix in little oil, keep in low flame and allow to cook.... In this method, carrot beans will be cooked without losing its colour and taste....lastly in another pan season with mustard curry leaves, onion, green chilles and pour over this mix, add coconut scraps and mix everything well.....
