Being bored up with regular rasam and soups, today I tried Murungakkai soup....This recipe I saw in a tv program long back.. Today only I have time to try this recipe.... Came out so tasty...This has very nice flavour too.... Murungakkai is very good for health...So try this soup and give your feedback.

Ingredients

Drumstick - one ( long)
Potato - 1
Onion -1
Garlic pods - 2
Pepper powder - 2 tsp
Cumin powder - 2 tsp
Ghee - 1 tsp
Curry leave - few
Lemon - 1
Salt - as needed

Method

Just pressure cook one long drumstick ( chopped), one potato, one onion, two garlic pods together by adding little water.... Now scoop out flesh part of drumstick, mash everything together, flesh of drumstick, potato, onion , garlic ,salt, after mashing, add the water we used for cooking this ( which is filtered and keep ready before mashing), mix well, filter this mix and extract only water..... In a pan add ghee, add pepper powder, cumin powder, curry leaves and pour this over the mix and allow to boil till it starts boiling and then switch off the flame.  Add lemon extract and serve hot.... Can add cream or roasted bread crumbs...your choice... Without adding, it tasted so nice.....
