Tomato chutney

Daily it is a big problem for me to prepare chutney.... In my home every used to consume lot of chutney.... I have to prepare double the quantity of main dish..... So daily I fed up to prepare what to do... What chutney should prepare so that I will come in large quantity that will be enough for all in the home... Automatically this is one among them... A different touch to tomato chutney... Try this and five your feed back


Ingredients

Tomatoes - 10 ( small)
Onion - 2 
Coconut - 1/2 cup
Coriander seeds - 1 tsp
Red chilies - 6
Channa dhal - 1 tbs
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Fenugreek seeds - 1/4 tsp
Poppy seeds - 1/2 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Oil - 3 tsp
Salt and water as needed

Method

In a pan add 1tsp of oil... Add coriander seeds, channa dhal, cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, red chillies, fry everything well... To this add coconut and poppy seeds and grind in the mixie cup and keep aside.

Again in a pan add two tsp of oil.... Season with mustard seeds, then add finely chopped onion, sauté well, till its turns pinkish... Then add finely chopped tomatoes... When tomatoes cooked well, add the grinded paste, salt, can add water if necessary at this stage and then boil well and then switch off the flame....

Can decorate with coriander leaves.

Serve hot with chappathi, idly, dosa etc....
