Banana flower - 1
Channa dhal - 1 cup
Toor dhal - 1 cup
Fennel seeds - 1 tsp
Green chillies - 5
Onion - 2
Curry leaves - fist ful
Salt and oil - as needed
Method
Soak channa dhal and thoor dhal in water for two hours.... Then drain water completely... Then add little fried gram, green chillies, fennel seeds and grind everything together coarsely in mixie cup without adding water
Clean banana flower... Chop in to small pieces or just run for one pulse in mixie and keep aside...
(Till using banana flower, keep it in water mixed with curd to avoid decoration) ... Even while grinding dhal you can put banana flower too along with it and run for one pulse...
To the grinded mix, add salt, nicely chopped onion, curry leaves and coriander leaves and mix well. Make balls out of it and flatten it and deep fry in oil.
