Lotus seeds has so much nutritional value and consumed by North Indians a lot, not much in use in south India..... Lotus seeds are much used in Chinese and Japanese dessert items a lot....

Ingredients
Lotus seeds - 1 cup
Red chill powder - 1 tsp
Chat masala - 1 tsp
Salt as needed
Curry leaves ( i forget to add) - few
Method
Just dry roast lotus seeds in a pan till it becomes crispy.... Just take and test a bite of it, if is completely crispy without any chewing effect, add one teaspoon of oil, red chilli powder, salt, chat masala and mix well and serve hot or store in container and use later.... Very simple , quick, healthy recipe for all age groups...
