Ingredients
Maida - 1 cup
Cocoa powder - 3 tbs
Water - 3/4 cup ( bit hot)
Sugar - 3/4 cup
Cooking soda 1/4 tsp
Baking powder - 1/2 tsp
Vanilla essence - 1/4 tsp
Oil - 1/4 cup
Lemon juice - 1 tbs
Method
Mix all wet ingredients with sugar and keep on stirring with spoon till sugar dissolves in water ( sugar, oil, water, essence ). Now mix all dry ingredients like maida, backing powder, cooking soda, cocoa powder, into the wet paste... Now mix everything well... Lastly add lemon and immediately transfer it to the greased baking tray ( i used aluminium tin)...
Take pressure pan... Keep some utensil on it, like one small cup etc... Above it place the tray...tray should not touch the walls of cooker... (You can place sand or salt also n the cooker and above that place one utensil and above that place cake tray).... Close the lid... But dont put whistle...First for five minutes keep in medium flame... Then reduce to sim flame ..., keep it for half an hour, open lid and check whether cake is cooked... Just insert one wet stick, if it comes out clean, then it means cake is ready.... Otherwise allow to cook for more time...then switch off the flame...
After five minutes, with help of knife from the tray and cut into shapes you like and serve....
