Spinach Broccoli Balls

Today's special recipe

Spinach broccoli balls....

As all of you know, spinach has so many health benefits, already all of you know, so i didnt go in detail about its health benefits.... But since kids hesitate to eat keerai in any other simple forms, try this, sure they will love this.....



Ingredients

Spinach keerai - 1 cup ( tightly packed)
broccoli - 1/2 cup   
Corn flour   - 1/2 cup ( increase or decrease till it form smooth dough)
Bread crumps - 1/4 cup
Pepper powder - 2 tsp
Salt as required
Oil for deep fry or shallow fry

Optional

Seasoning - 1/4 tsp
Lemon grass - 1/4 tsp
Chilli flakes or chill powder -  1 tsp
Cheese - 1/2 cup grated

Method

Blanch spinach and broccoli in hot water for two minutes... Complete filter water from it.... Mash them with potato maher...otherwise in mixie just pulse it for one second... Dont run in mixies cup since keerai will become so watery and taste wont be nice...

To this mix add, pepper powder, salt, corn flour, bread crumbs, mix well... You can add all items mentioned under optional... Even if you have gulab jamun readymade mix in your home, can add it little...

Now mix everything well... Make balls round or any shapes you like and deep fry or shallow fry and serve hot....healthy snacks ready for kids...
