Healthy recipe for girls at the puberty stage.... urad dhal ladoo or balls.... Famous recipe in andhra and tamilnadu used to be given to the girls at the puberty time... This will strengthen the hip muscles and prepares her to bear a healthy child in future... Daily one or two balls used to be given to the girls....
Ingredients
Urad dhal - 1 cup
Rice - 2 tbs
Palm jaggery - 1 cup
Ghee - 1/4 cup
Method
Dry roast urad dhal and rice and powder it... I grinded in machine so it become so nice... But it is better to grind it coarsely...
I used palm jaggery mixed with sukku ( dry ginger)... But you can use either normal palm jaggery or even just normal jaggery.... But palm jaggery is more healthier... Crush palm jaggery with stone... Then you can run both urad dhal powder and jaggery powder for just one or two pulse... Dont run for long then it will become watery...
Now add the heated ghee to the flour and make balls.. Store it in air tight container... It is the best food for growing girls... Dont miss to give it to them.... Natural way of preparing a girl's body for child birth....
