Wheat payasam



Today for neivethiyam for God i want to prepare some different payasam than normal payasam..... i had broken wheat in my stock, so ended in preparing wheat payasam.......recipe is simple....... fry 1/2 cup of broken wheat in ghee till nice aroma rises......pressure cook it using 4 cups water in pressure pan.......then put jaggery (measurement differs on individual taste, i added 1/2 kg...) in half cup of water and allow to boil, when jaggery completely dissolved in water, filter it , mix cooked wheat with this jaggery syrub and put in flame for five minutes, then add thin coconut milk, let it boil for 5 minutes, then switch off the flame , add thick coconut milk, cashew nuts and kismis dry fruits fried in ghee........serve either hot or cold.............
