Burgar with Rajma corn patti


GoodMorning friends.... Home made healthy burger ...Kids keep on asking me to take them to hotels.... But I mostly avoid hotels except on occasions or any outing...... So I asked them, "what do you want ? I will prepare it in our home itself??" Immediately they asked " will you prepare pizza or burger as in McDonald.....??" So thought of trying burger, but at the same time I want it to be healthier...in restaurants normally they use non veg patties in burglar, so I replaced it with rajma, corn patti and other process are very easy....Kids really loved it very much, they told, " mom really it tastes as in hotels" even they don't feel the presence of rajma which they normally avoid when cooked in other forms,,,,so friends try this and give me your comments....


Ingredients


Rajma ( black bean) - 1 cup 

Baby corn - 1/4 cup

Poha ( flattened rice) - 1 cup

Bread crumbs - 2 tbs

All purpose flour - 2 tbs

Red chilli powder - 3 tsp

Garam masala - 1 tsp

Onion - 2 to 3

Tomato - 2 to 3

Cabbage or Chinese cabbage - 100 gms 

Burger bun - 5

Oil , butter , salt - as per requirement.


Method

First let us see recipe for patti inside, you can make it as cutlet to instead of filling in burger...soak rajma overnight, cook for 9 to 10 whistles in cooker, mash it with potato masher.....


 Wash poha till it become soft, if you use one cup of rajma, add one cup of poha, 


now mix rajma, poha, sweet corns ( cooked) bread crumbs, all purpose flour, red chillie powder, garam masala powder, salt, mix everything well.


 Leave it for ten minutes, then make balls out of it and shallow fry in dosa tawa, here I used pancake tawa ( very nice tawa to make cutlets, patties etc without oil)



Then cut the burger bun into two( I used normal small bun available in our area), even can use bread instead of bun....roast bun, then first add green chutney inside ( just grind coriander leaves, green chillies, salt ) of bun, 

then place rajma corn patti over it,

 then place sliced onion , tomato, can use Chinese cabbage which will give colour and attraction to decoration, or can use cabbage in that place...but I forget to buy it....


above the onion and tomato place another part of bun and insert tooth pick stick so that all are kept intact, serve with sauce..... I put step by step picture for your reference.....


Serve hot with any sauce.
