Poha kesari

One of the easiest sweet to make..... Tastier too... It helped me in many situations when I have no time to prepare delicious sweets......



Ingredients

Poha - 1 cup
Sugar - 1 cup
Water - 1 cup for thick poha, 3/4 cup for thin poha
Cashwenuts and raisins - according to our taste.  
Ghee - 2 to 3 tbs
Kesari colour - optional

Method

Roast poha in little ghee. Then cool it and grind it to a coarse powder in a mixie. Boil water, add poha powder, when it is cooked, add sugar and ghee....mix everything well , add kesari colour , cardomin powder and stir continously till  kesari begin to leave sides and begin to give out ghee in the sides,switch of the flame. Add cashewnuts  and raisins roasted in ghee and serve hot.
