Akki Roti

We can call this as rice chappathi. Kerala famous Aari paathiri and this seems to be similar, but bith have variations. This is famous Karnataka recipe. I learned this from my culinary friend 
Sumathi Kesav. Even in first try came out very well and kids loved it. 

Ingredients

Cooked rice    -  3 cups
Rice flour   - 1 cup
Cucumber - 1
Green peas - 1/2 cup
Jeera - 1 tsp

Method

You can make this roti either with newly cooked rice or left over rice. Grate cucumber and keep it aside for 15 minutes. Squeeze water and keep aside. Cook green peas and mash it. First mash the cooked rice well, to that add rice flour, cucumber , green chillie paste, mashed green peas, salt. Knead everything well. It is not necessary to add water. If you feel dough is too hard, can add cucumber water. Then make balls out of it. Then roll it either by dusting rice powder or up greasing oil in plastic sheet ....put this rolled roti in hot tawa, when it is cooked in one side, turn it to other side and when it is  cooked remove from fire , serve hot. Everytime you can show the back side of tawa in tap water and place in flame , the put roti over it. Serve hot with any chutney.
