Green peas gravy

This is very simpler version of green peas gravy... If you have fresh green peas and tomato sauce in your home can prepare within ten minutes. Even if any guests come to home suddenly, you can prepare a rich looks tasty gravy within few minutes using this recipe.... You can prepare this without any oil too....

Ingredients

Fresh or dry green peas - 1 cup
Tomato sauce - 2 table spoon
Red chilli powder - 2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt, water, oil - as required

Preparation

If you use dry green peas, soak it overnight and pressure cook for two whistles...

If you use fresh green peas, just cook in in water till it is cooked well...

To the cooked green peas, don't remove water.... Along with cooked green peas and water, add tomato sauce, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and sauté well.... Can add water if needed... Allow it to boil till raw smell of masala items goes out.... Now take one handful of green peas from it and make it to a paste in mixie, then add the paste to the gravy....this is done to make the gravy thicker..... Allow to boil for few more minutes and then switch off the flame... Decorate with coriander leaves... I don't have coriander leaves in stock, so didn't added it ....

Serve hot with chapathi or roti or nan ....

Note

If you don't have tomato sauce in home... Just blanch 5 tomatoes in hot water for ten minutes... Then remove its skin, grind to paste... In pan add oil, then add nicely chopped onion, garlic ( optional) sauté well, then add tomato paste, little sugar and sauté well till it loses its water content... Then add little red chilli powder, sauté well till oil begins to leave in the sides of the pan.... You can keep this in fridge too for 10 days if you prepare in large quantity.....
