Wheat Fruit Halwa

Wheat fruit halwa I tried seeing an award winning recipe in magazine... But halwa ended in consistency of kali, since prepared in large quantity, so not able to add ghee according to that and find it difficult to sauté in the pan am having.. Need to buy some big heavy bottom pan for this purpose... But taste is sooo nice... Anyone who try this first try with one cup, then can try large..

Ingredients

Wheat flour - 1 cup
Sugar -  1 cup
Fruits - 1 cup ( apple, grapes, guava, banana)
Ghee - 3/4 cup ( increase or decrease as per need of consistency)
Khova - 1/4 cup ( without sugar)
Cardamon - 3
Cashew-nuts - 10
Nut mug powder ( optional) - one pinch
Water , a pinch of salt

Method

Sauté one cup of wheat in ghee till it turns golden brown colour... Slice fruits like apple, guava, grapes ( I didn't add grapes), banana and sauté it in ghee and keep aside... Boil one cup of sugar in water and prepare sugar syrub for one string consistency....dissolve roasted wheat in water and add to this sugar syrub, add fruits ( it is better you mash fruits in mixie cup and then add, guava didn't mash well in normal sauting which I did)...add ghee little by little...when everything mixes well, add khova, saute for one minute, Switch off the flame, add cardamon powder and ghee fried cashewnuts and raisins ( I added only cashew nuts)...can add little nut mug powder too..
