Keppa koozh / Ragi porridge

Good morning friends.... Already all of you know the health benefits of raggi..... In those days those people who do hard works and poor people used to have this, this cools their body, gives strength and keep them healthy. That too this ragi koozh, in one hand full of ragi powder, you can prepare breakfast for whole family. So in those days mainly this is a must item in poor people's home.... Now only other sectors  Of people begin to try this when they begin to get diseases due to luxurious life.

If possible regularly include this in your diet, very good  for your health, first prepare koozh and make it as balls and keep aside, when about to eat, mix buttermilk, water and drink along with small onion , mango and pickles as side dish.... Will taste heavenly....


Ingredients

Rag powder- 1/4
Cooked rice - one hand full
Water and salt as needed

Method 

Add 3/4 cup of water to the ragi powder and leave overnight to ferment.

Heat 3/4 cup of water... Add little salt....When water begins to boil, keep flame in sim, add ragi mix slowly stirring in between... Continuously keep stirring....avoid formation of lumps.  Add cooked rice. Continuously stir for till  ragi becomes thick... Correct consistency is just when you touch with wet hand it wont stick to your hand. When it cools make balls out of it with wet hand.

Eat with small onion, raw mango and pickles
