Ingredients
Aval or poha - 1 cup
Coconut - 1/4 cup
Ghee - 1 tsp
Salt - little pinch
Water - as needed
Method
Roast poha in a teaspoon of ghee. Powder it coarse in mixie cup. Add pinch of salt. Sprinkle water little by little and mix it till you can hold puttu in hand in shape and when you drop the same it will break down. Stram it in in puttu maker along with coconut. If you dont have puttu maker, can use coconut shell or idly mould or cups to steam....
You can add ghee and sugar and eat or eat with any kadala curry.
