Senai fry

Being sunday afternoon during a rainy season and being a pure vegeterian what else I can try.... Tried a crispy, tastier version of Senai fry....


Ingredients

Senai - 1/2 kg ( Elephant foot yam)
Onion - 1
Red chilli powder - 3 tsp
Curry leaves - few
Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
Soya sauce - 1 tsp
Tomato sauce - 2 tsp
Water - to boil
Oil - to deep fry
Salt to taste

Method

Cut senai in large thin square pieces.... Half cook them in water and filter water.... Then deep fry them in oil....

In a pan add oil, add onion saute well, add ginger garlic paste, curry leaves saute well, then add soya sauce, tomato sauce, salt, saute well, then add fried senai amd mix well keeping in high flame. Can add garam masala too if you want. 

Serve hot immediately with hot rice.
