Red chutney

This is my all time favourite chutney, mostly everyone used to make this home.... Anyhow am posting the recipe for beginners in cooking.


Ingredients

Small Onions - 1 cup
Tomatoes - 3
Garlic - 2 ( optiona)
Salt and water as needed

For seasoning

Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Urad dhal - 1 tsp
Curry leaves - few
Hing powder - 1/4 tsp
Oil - as needed

Method

In mxie cup, grind together small onion ( skin peeled), tomatoes, garlic ( no need to add water )....

In a pan add oil, season with ingredients mentioned under seasoning, then add grinded mix, add little water, salt and allow to boil well by covering it with lid till its raw smell goes... If you need to store it for long, use more oil and cook till oil leaves the sides..
